Rear brake cam BGM Original suitable for all Vespa largeframe engines. Perfect OEM quality as a high-quality but inexpensive alternative to the original Piaggio component. CNC manufactured from high-strength steel with a burnished surface. Including pre-assembled O-rings. ASSEMBLY TIP: The shoulder in the middle of the shaft (between the O-rings) is already intended as a grease reservoir at the factory. Since the shaft is mounted directly in the aluminum of the motor housing, it should always be installed with a grease pack, e.g. with the lithium saponified grease we offer (7673778). This means that no water can penetrate between the shaft and the bore in the housing and effectively prevents contact corrosion. TIP: Many older motors still use a short brake arm (length approx. 50mm). This can be exchanged for the longer brake arm (65mm) of the later PX Lusso or 200cc models. With the longer lever, the possible braking power increases significantly, the controllability decreases somewhat.
