High performance racing shaft from BGM. Suitable for all powerful smallframe motors that not only know how to use the advantage of a very well balanced shaft in conjunction with a very stable connecting rod but also urgently need it. Due to the steadily increasing performance of the supposedly small engines, the demands on the material also became higher and higher. In order to permanently meet this requirement, our BGM product line is subject to constant development. The know-how of our racing team is one of the main pillars of product development. In numerous races, the parts were subjected to extremely high loads, such as the last time in the 11h race with a 25HP engine on the bike. Despite the massive long-term stress test, the parts are like new and can be used without hesitation. The shaft has the standard stroke of 51 mm, but has a 97 mm long connecting rod instead of the standard 105mm, which in its last evolutionary stage has now been widened to a proud 5mm thickness. The crank webs are larger in diameter (both sides: 87mm) than those of a standard shaft (86,8mm). This means that the diameter of the crankcase has to be expanded (spindle dimension 88mm). The longer connecting rod either requires a suitable cylinder or a corresponding spacer plate.
