BGM PRO shaft sealing rings made of high-quality and ethanol-resistant (E10) FKM / Viton® * WHY FKM / VITON® The material FKM (fluorocarbon rubber) is extremely heat, friction and fuel / ethanol resistant. Current premium fuel in Germany already contains up to 5% ethanol admixture per se. In other countries the ethanol / alcohol content is even higher. Conventional shaft seals can swell or soften when they come into contact with fuels containing ethanol. The BGM PRO FKM / Viton® shaft seals, on the other hand, offer perfect protection. In addition, Viton is twice as temperature-resistant as the conventional (blue) NBR shaft seals, has very good gas impermeability and is also very resistant to aging. SUITABLE FOR A motor equipped with BGM PRO FKM / Viton® shaft sealing rings can therefore also be operated with E10 fuel (10% alcohol) without any problems. The high-quality brown Viton® * sealing material is permanently alcohol-resistant and also suitable for engines with high temperatures and high speeds. BGM PRO FKM / Viton® shaft sealing rings are therefore suitable for all engines, regardless of whether they are left as they are or whether they are tuned high-performance engines. BENEFITS OF BGM PRO The BGM PRO shaft seals offer an additional feature of double sealing. All shaft seals that seal against the atmosphere have a so-called dust lip. This is in front of the actual sealing lip.
