Stickers require a clean, smooth and degreased surface for permanent fixation. Our brake cleaner, for example, is very suitable for degreasing. In the case of larger areas to be glued, it is always an advantage to spray the area with a little water before gluing. You can also add a few drops of detergent to the water to make it smoother. This means that corrections can still be made while sticking the sticker without destroying the sticker. With stickers that sit on a carrier film, you can push the water out from under the sticker with a plastic squeegee by pulling the squeegee across the surface at an angle and with light pressure. As a result, there are no water reservoirs in the sticker that would only dry out slowly and the connection between the sticker and the surface is further improved by the squeegee. Stickers without a carrier film can also be processed in this way with a protective document cover from the office supply. If you have steady hands, you can of course position the sticker directly without using the water.
