The Vespa forks with separate mounts for shock absorbers and springs all tend to bottom out during hard braking maneuvers. The long lever of the swing arm in relation to the center of the axle of the front wheel allows the front to submerge even when the front brake is operated normally. A tighter spring can help quickly and cheaply. We have a spring made of stainless steel in Germany.
